Fighting Against Abuse.
How lovely she is… Her eyes penetrate deep into your soul; how their beautiful grayish blue gaze touches your heart. See how the elegance of her charm is painted so wonderfully across her face. How the lovely red flower, gracefully blooms just above her left eyebrow. How the strokes from the brush strikes her flesh so deeply. Notice the artist’s loving touch, brings out the beauty in the dark purplish, blue pedals, which adorn the fullness of her lips as it shows across her nose. Look at the fullness of the flowering bouquet, which grows like ivy from the softness of her chin and up over her delicate cheekbone. The way the brilliant crimson pedals, frame her right eye so fashionably. Do you see how simple, that was to turn a blind eye to abuse of any kind. To see, but not see the truth behind the hatred of a striking blow. How embarrassing it must be to hide your face, with a beautiful paint job. There is no beauty in it, when a woman or children are the victims of abuse. © 2013 H. Dirk Macgrieve
